how does art respond to financial crisis?
what can art teach us about the economy?
can art predict, intuit, or explain the global market?
join us in Cambridge on 29th and 30th April 2016 for a two-day debate surrounding the position of art in a late-capitalist world. art / money / crisis will host academic speakers from across the UK, the US, and Europe, and from disciplines including literature, sociology, economics, visual arts, cultural studies, anthropology, history, music, and politics.
we also welcome representatives from flo6x8, Occupy Museums NY, and a series of artists and performance artists.
